Submit to our Blog or Journal

Soul Spill offers two avenues for engaging with fellow peers:

1) The quarterly-released journal that releases issues containing literary and visual work, including prayers, meditations, poems, short stories, photography, and art.

2) Our open blog that features content like stories or articles directly related to mental health.

Work published in our quarterly-released journal doesn't necessarily need to mention mental health but can include themes regarding it. Our journal issues are designed to support mental health but not necessarily discuss it, just like a good poem or short story. We will distribute journal issues to institutions and centers where your work can uplift others (ex, for use as a mediation ritual in a youth center or as a beginning of class prayer in a school). No work will be distributed without the author's permission. To write for our journal issues, please use the submission form below.

Our open blog features posts directly about mental health. Articles could include personal experiences, teen-to-teen advice, and summaries of new research. To write on our blog, please send your article to contact@soulspill.org! Any level of contribution is welcome.
